Hutton helps the Blues bounce back for a win over the Jets

December 16, 2017 By Bill Pollock

Carter Hutton made a career-high 48 saves and Vladimir Tarasenko and Vince Dunn scored for St. Louis, which snapped a two-game skid.  The Blues beat the Winnipeg Jets 2-0 on Saturday night at Scottrade Center.

Hutton was just activated from injured reserve after sustaining a lower body injury and faced 36 shots over the first 40 minutes of the game.

Tarasenko scored his 15th of the year at 9:16 of the first on the power play.  Tarasenko assisted on Dunn’s goal with 2:26 left in the game.  Tarasenko has 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in his last 13 games.
