Jefferson City Jays head football coach Ted LePage announced his resignation Sunday night at the end of the team’s banquet. LePage, who spent 12 years as the Jays head coach, compiling a record of 86-46.  He leaves the program the second longest tenured coach, as well as the second-winningest coach behind Pete Adkins who won 354 games in 37 years.

That leaves the two high schools in the state’s capitol looking for new head coaches.  In November, Helias Catholic announced that Tim Rulo would not return to coach the Crusaders after three seasons.
