Top Stories:  The Springfield City Council voted last night to let voters decide whether to repeal a controversial ban on pit bulls.  After a successful signature petition drive, the council was required to reconsider the ban passed in October, repeal it, or send it to a vote of the people.  And a Missouri lawmaker says residents pay for personal or real property taxes “forever.” Harrisonville Republican State Representative Rick Brattin has filed legislation that would authorize a property tax exemption for individuals who’ve owned real property for 30 years and for individuals who’ve owned personal property for ten years.
