Mizzou win streak reaches nine as Tigers hit 15 three-pointers

December 11, 2017 By Bill Pollock

Sophie Cunningham scored a season-high 35 points, and Mizzou hit a season-high 15 three-pointers, as the Tigers win streak hit nine with a 78-48 win over SIUE at Mizzou Arena on Sunday afternoon.  Cunningham hit a career-high seven three’s on 11-of-16 shooting and scored 30 or more points for the fifth time of her career. Her 35 points are also the best by a Southeastern Conference player this season.

With the win, the Tigers extended its regular season non-conference home winning streak to 51 games.

Mizzou travels to the West Palm Invitational to take on Indiana and Xavier in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Dec. 17 and Dec. 18, respectively. Tip off vs. Indiana on Sunday is set for 12:15 p.m. CT.
