Mizzou

Freshman guard C.J. Roberts has decided to transfer from the Missouri basketball program.  A 6’0 combo guard, Roberts has not played for the Tigers this year as it was previously announced that he would redshirt.

Roberts, a four star recruit, was a top-100 player out of Texas who signed with former Mizzou coach Kim Anderson.  When Cuanzo Martin took over the Tigers program, Roberts briefly looked elsewhere but settled on staying with his commitment.

Martin in a statement released Thursday night confirmed the move: “C.J. Roberts will transfer from the Mizzou Men’s Basketball program. We wish him nothing but the best, and we will assist him in any way possible.”
