Reid suspends #Chiefs CB Marcus Peters for Raiders game for throwing penalty flag into the stands (VIDEO)

December 7, 2017 By Bill Pollock

After giving it much thought and discussing the situation from last Sunday with some of the team leaders, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has suspended cornerback Marcus Peters for one game. The suspension likely stems from Peters’ action in New York, when he threw an officials flag into the stands. Peters than left the field but had to return after realizing he wasn’t ejected from the game.

Peters has been a Pro Bowl pick in his first two seasons, but has had a series of embarrassing on-the-field incidents. He was kicked off the University of Washington team as a junior.
