Mizzou men’s basketball snapped a 36-game true road trip losing streak.  They held off Central Florida 62-59, their first road win since January of 2014.  Kassius Robertson, Jordan Barnett shot a combined 13 of 25 from the floor including 7 of 12 from three point range.  Robertson scored 19, Barnett 17 and Jeremiah Tilmon, who picked up his third foul early in the second half, added 14 points with three blocks.

Missouri went seven minutes without a point in the first half and were down eight early, but took a five-point lead at the break.  A dunk by Jeremiah Tilmon put the Tigers up 52-41 with seven minutes to play.  Robertson grabbed a defensive rebound and got the ball to Terrence Phillips who fed Tilmon on the break to give Missouri their biggest lead. However, it was Phillips who came up big for Mizzou late in the game.

After UCF cut the Tigers lead to 54-52, Phillips banked in a three-pointer as the shot clock was winding down.  He also hit a jumper with just under a minute to play to give Mizzou a 59-54 lead.  Barnett made three free throws in the closing seconds to seal the victory.
