Top Stories:  Efforts to remove Missouri Education Commissioner Margie Vandeven (van-DEE-ven) have led to the filing of two lawsuits. Former state Board of Education appointee Tim Sumners is suing Governor Greitens and claiming the governor illegally withdrew the appointment of Sumners. Doug Hayter with the Missouri Association of School Administrators says a Springfield teacher is also suing the board for possibly violating law when it went into closed session last week and made decisions about who should be on the board.  And Missouri Congressman who voted for the GOP tax bill says it will bring much-needed relief to families.
