The 2017 Tigers finished 20-11 overall and 13-5 in the SEC. Mizzou’s appearance marks its 14th trip to postseason play since 2000 and includes Radford and Wichita State in the other half of the this regional.
After winning both the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament championships, the 25th-ranked Missouri State volleyball team found out its NCAA Tournament destination Sunday evening as the MVC’s automatic qualifier, and will begin tournament play against Michigan State on Friday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. in Omaha, Neb.
Missouri State’s 10th NCAA trip in the last 15 seasons and 13th overall includes No. 9 national seed Creighton and Coastal Carolina in the other half of the four-team regional.
2nd round matches for both the Tigers and Bears would take place on Saturday (Dec 2).
