Top Stories: Springfield police are hunting for the person who shot and killed a man outside a fast food restaurant early this morning. KOLR-TV reports officers were initially called to the scene for a reported DWI. But when they got there, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died a short time later. Witnesses saw a car flee the area, but no arrests had been made. The victim’s name has not yet been released. And Senator Roy Blunt visited a St. Charles company yesterday. The G-O-P lawmaker spoke to employees at Patriot Machines to promote the Senate version of the tax reform bill. One of Blunt’s key selling points was more take home pay.
