No Porter, no problem for #Mizzou

November 14, 2017 By Bill Pollock

Michael Porter Jr watched Monday night’s game from the locker room nursing an injury that is “Day-to-day.”

Without the services of the top freshman in college basketball, Mizzou still had no issues dismantling Wagner, 99-55 on Monday night.

Mizzou shot 68 percent from the field and went 12-22 from three point range (54 percent).

Kassius Robertson led the Tigers with 23 points. Jordan Barnett had 13 and Jontay Porter had 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Freshman Blake Harris, who chose Mizzou to play alongside Porter Jr, joined him in the trainer’s room at halftime and did not return.  He landed on his knee under the basket in the first half.

Next up, the Tigers will play on the road against Utah on Thursday at 7 p.m.
