November 13, 2017 By Jason Taylor

Top Stories: Governor Eric Greitens has announced that he’s signed an agreement with an Israeli based company to address cybersecurity.  Greitens says he came to terms in the past week during a trade mission to Israel for the firm HackerUSA to work with the state Department of Higher Education to provide cybersecurity training to Missouri students.  And the Executive Director of the Missouri School Boards’ Association has issued a statement critical of what she says is an effort by Governor Eric Greitens to replace the Commissioner of Education.  Melissa Randol says the Governor’s apparent candidate supports expansion of charter schools.  She contends such a move could have a negative impact on public schools, especially in rural areas where charter expansion would encourage school district consolidation.
