Missouri AG Hawley to outline initiative aimed at “tech giant” on Monday

November 13, 2017 By Brian Hauswirth

Missouri’s Attorney General will announce a new initiative Monday aimed at what he describes as a “major tech company.”

Republican Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley

Attorney General Josh Hawley (R) will brief the Capitol Press Corps during a 10:30 a.m. news conference in his Jefferson City office. We’ll learn details at that time.

“For years, technology companies have dominated the markets with little supervision,” Hawley says in a statement. “But not anymore. Missouri consumers and business will not be manipulated.”

The Missouri Attorney General’s office enforces civil law, including consumer protection laws.
