Jaden Schwartz snapped a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal just 32 seconds into the third period and the Blues went on to beat the Devils 3-1 at the Prudential Center.  Brayden Schenn sealed the win with an empty-netter in the final minute.  Vladimir Tarasenko, who left practice early on Tuesday with an upper-body injury, also scored for St. Louis, which has won six-of-seven.

Tarasenko and Schwartz scored in a 1:35 span over the end of the second and start of the third period.

The Blues dominated the final 20 minutes, outshooting New Jersey 19-4 in beating the Devils for the eighth straight time. Jake Allen made 21 saves to improve to 6-0-0 all-time against New Jersey.

The Blues host Arizona Thursday.
