Missouri State women’s soccer wins MVC tournament. Headed to NCAAs

November 6, 2017 By Bill Pollock

The Missouri State women’s soccer team earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the Bears defeated the UNI Panthers, 1-0, to claim the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Championship title on Sunday at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium.  The Bears (10-9-1) return to the NCAA tournament after a 17-season drought – marking the program’s second tournament appearance since its inception in 1996.

The Bears will discover their seed in the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship on Monday, Nov. 6, at 3:30 p.m. when the 2017 NCAA Championship bracket will be announced.
