The Bill Pollock Show–Should #MLB change their playoff format? Two #STLCards pitchers make Top 50 list (PODCAST)

October 12, 2017 By Bill Pollock

Wouldn’t the baseball playoffs give us a better representation of a true World Series champion if each series was played with no off days and all series were longer, like 7 or 9 games?  Perhaps.  That’s what I was also believed, but my opinion has changed.  The short series provides more drama and more second guessing which helps keep fans engaged.

Sporting News released their list of the Top 50 players under the age of 26.  You may be surprised to hear who did and didn’t make the list from the Cardinals and Royals.

Alex Smith and the Chiefs offense has been rolling, but he may be without a big target.

Plus the numbers don’t fare well for KC against the Steelers.
