Royals shut out by Oakland in home opener

April 11, 2017 By Tim Fisher

Khris Davis spoiled the Kansas City Royals home opener hitting a two-run homer for all the scoring as Oakland shut out KC 2-0.

The Royals offense could only muster three hits on the afternoon as the A’s beat the Royals for the seventh consecutive time.

Ian Kennedy fell to 0-2 as the hard luck loser giving up just the two runs on six hits over six innings while striking out four.
