Yadier Molina commits to playing for Puerto Rico in World Baseball Classic

Yadier Molina has committed to play for Puerto Rico in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.  His Melvin Roman, confirmed to MLB.com.  Molina is the first Cardinal to commit to playing in the tournament.

Molina will be playing in his fourth WBC.  Molina is 11-for-38 and saw his most action in 2013 when he played in seven games and helped Puerto Rico advance to the finals.

The tournament will run from March 6-22.
