The 25th ranked Mizzou volleyball team shares two losses with Kentucky and Florida, but holds the tie-breaker over each team.  Following the Tigers five-set win over the Gators Sunday at Hearnes Center, they can clinch the SEC championship without needing help.

With only two matches left in the regular season, the Tigers can claim a share of the conference title with wins against Georgia (Nov. 23) and Tennessee (Nov. 26).  The Tigers are going for their second SEC championship in four years.

With their thrilling 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 25-15, 21-25, 15-10) victory over 5th ranked Florida, the Tigers have now won three consecutive wins over Florida teams that have been ranked in the top ten at the Hearnes Center.

Joining Sunday’s peformance were Tigers’ wins in over then-No. 9 Florida on Sept. 30, 2015, and No. 2 Florida on Oct. 20, 2013.
