Mizzou head football coach Barry Odom couldn’t give us an update on the injury to senior middle linebacker Michael Scherer, 48 hours after their loss to Middle Tennessee.  I’m purely speculating here, but when the team can’t or won’t give an update on an injury it usually isn’t good for the player.

Odom was the defensive coordinator last season.  He’s not taking a more hands on approach to helping correct those issues.

This World Series should be a ratings boon for Fox.  Two franchises longing for a championship.  East 6th Street in downtown Cleveland will be hoppin’ tonight.  Not only will the first pitch of the World Series be thrown at Progressive Field, but the Cavaliers will unveil their NBA title banner at their Arena tonight when they start the season.  A feel good story for both the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs.
