Spencer Ware ran for a career-high 131 yards and a touchdown, Jamaal Charles and Dontari Poe added scores and the Chiefs beat the Oakland Raiders 26-10 on Sunday.

Alex Smith completed 19 of 22 passes for 224 yards and the Chiefs forced two turnovers by Oakland QB Derek Carr.

Marcus Peters set up Ware’s TD run with an early interception of Carr and Dee Ford forced a fumble from Carr in the fourth quarter.

Under Andy Reid, the Chiefs are 16-2 following a bye.

At 3-2, Kansas City closes the gap on Denver and Oakland (both 4-2) in the AFC West.
