Missouri’s voter registration deadline is today

“Eligible Missourians can register to vote in person at their local election authority’s office, any Department of Motor Vehicles office or a state agency that provides services to the public. You can also go to www.govotemissouri.com,” says Fleming.

Online submissions for registrations or changes to voter information must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

“Whether you’re new to the state, you’ve just turned 18 or maybe you just moved across county lines, it’s really important to visit www.govotemissouri.com to either register for the first time or update your existing registration,” says Fleming.

Mailed registration forms must be post-marked by Wednesday.

“Whether you’re checking your registration, checking acceptable forms of identification that you need to bring with you to the polls on Election Day, or looking up contact information for your election authority, there’s loads of great information on www.govotemissouri.com.

About 4.1 million Missourians are registered to vote. The general election will be held on November 8.
