Traveling to K-State wasn’t tough enough, Missouri State will play without their starting QB who gets suspended

Let’s be honest, we didn’t expect Missouri State to march into Kansas State and beat the Wildcats after losing the previous three times that these teams have met at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.  However, with carrying a two-game win streak to the start the season, the Bears had some renewed confidence.  Now, they’ll be turning the offense back over to senior Brodie Lambert who started in the Bears only win last season.

The change in QBs comes after Head Coach Dave Steckel suspended redshirt sophomore Breck Ruddick for what the athletic departments calls “conduct detrimental to the team.”

The athletic department confirms that Ruddick will not be reinstated until the situation has been resolved.

Ruddick has thrown for 424 yards and four touchdowns along with one interception in the Bears first two wins of the season.
