Mizzou gymnast Morgan Porter from St. Louis was arrested by University of Missouri campus police on suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit device. The 19-year old Porter from Ritenhour High School in Overland, Missouri faces possible felony charges after an incident with a credit card in June.
Porter was SEC Freshman of the Year last season.
She’s suspended from the team pending an investigation.
Fraudulent use of a credit device is a class A misdemeanor unless the value of the property or services obtained or sought within a 30-day period is $500 or more. In that case it’s a Class D felony.
