Danny Duffy stayed hot, winning his tenth straight decision in leading the Kansas City Royals to a 2-1 series finale win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.
The win marked the eighth straight for KC as the Royals swept the four game series.
Duffy improved to 11-1 on the year without his best stuff, going 6 2/3 innings surrendering 8 hits, walking 2, giving up 1 earned run while striking out only four.
Alcides Escobar drove in Eric Hosmer for the games first run in the second inning. Â Hosmer then drove in Lorenzo Cain in the sixth for the game winner.
The Royals are off on Monday before heading to Miami to start a series with the Marlins on Tuesday.
