Danny Duffy stayed hot, winning his tenth straight decision in leading the Kansas City Royals to a 2-1 series finale win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.
The win marked the eighth straight for KC as the Royals swept the four game series.
Duffy improved to 11-1 on the year without his best stuff, going 6 2/3 innings surrendering 8 hits, walking 2, giving up 1 earned run while striking out only four.
Alcides Escobar drove in Eric Hosmer for the games first run in the second inning. Hosmer then drove in Lorenzo Cain in the sixth for the game winner.
The Royals are off on Monday before heading to Miami to start a series with the Marlins on Tuesday.
