The Bill Pollock Show–It took way too long to reach a conclusion to keep Earleywine on the job at Mizzou (PODCAST)

Ehren Earleywine

I don’t know why anyone would want to be a college coach? The scrutiny they are under to win from fans, the pressure they must feel from boosters, parents, players and the administration will cut ties if it means saving face.  While I credit the University of Missouri for making the right choice in retaining Ehren Earleywine to return for his 11th season as Tigers’ softball coach, taking over four and a half months to investigate what amounts to an investigation into a potty mouth took way too long.

First, I have to go back to Ryan Lochte.  We all talked about it at work, we talked about it around our dinner table and the only question that kept coming up was, “Why would Lochte lie about getting robbed?”

Make no mistake, I think Lochte is an idiot, but I tried to lay out a scenario as to why Lochte would say what he said.  I try to get into the blue-green head of his.
