Monday’s 3-1 win over the Detroit Tigers gave starter Ian Kennedy his fourth straight quality start and first career win against this team.

Kennedy stifled the Tigers to just five hits in 6⅔ innings. His lone mistake was a homer to J.D. Martinez in the seventh.

Kennedy allowed just three singles through six innings and didn’t allow a runner to second base until Martinez’s blast in the seventh.
