The father of two former Branson entertainers has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the rape of a young girl. The Honorable Judge Brad Karren of the Benton County, Arkansas Circuit Court handed down the sentence to 59-year-old Michael Fair after he negotiated a plea agreement involving a single charge of rape.

He is the adopted father of five children, who previously performed at the Americana Theatre in Branson.

Judge Karren specified Fair would need to serve at least 70% of his sentence before he becomes eligible for parole. Also, court records show he is mandated to pay just over $2,100 in court fees and will need to register as a sex offender before leaving prison.
