Edinson Volquez struggled again as the Kansas City Royals fell to the Texas Rangers Friday night 8-3.
Volquez dropped his record to 8-9 giving up six runs, five earned on nine hits over six innings.
The Royals offense struggled scoring twice in the sixth and once in the seventh.
Eric Hosmer provided the scoring in the sixth with a two-run homer, his 14th of the season.
