Chiefs will be without LB Houston at least through the first two preseason games

July 27, 2016 By Bill Pollock

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston will not participate at all during training camp in St. Joseph and will not play in the first two exhibition games.  That was the news from head coach Andy Reid Tuesday as the team opened up their seventh season of camp at Missouri Western University.

“He’ll be here. He’s just not going to be able to do the football stuff. He’ll rehab and continue on with his rehab,” said Reid.

Houston missed Kansas City’s final five regular season games in 2015 due to knee issues and underwent surgery for the injuries this past offseason.
