The St. Louis Cardinals walked-off for the second straight game as Matt Adams homered in the 16th to lead the Cardinals to a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Busch Stadium Friday night.

The Cardinals, not winners of five straight, walked off with a win Thursday in the series finale wtih San Diego.

It took the red-hot Jedd Gyorko to send the game into extra innings with a solo homerun in the bottom of the ninth to tie the matchup at three. It was Gyorko’s 12th homer of the season.

Seth Maness picked up his first win of the season in relief. Michael Wacha allowed two runs over six innings in the start. Tyler Lyons may have been the pitching star of the night tossing 4 2/3 of scoreless relief in extra innings.
