Jurickson Profar hit a two-run, bases-loaded pinch-hit single completing a two-out rally in the eighth, giving the Texas Rangers to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday to sweep the three game series.

The Cardinals lost their fifth straight game.

Matt Bowman got the first two outs in the eighth, before Rougned Odor doubled.  An intentional walk and then a fielder’s choice loaded the bases. Aledmys Diaz had a grounder come his way and he was slow in getting the throw to Matt Carpenter at second for the force.  Mitch Moreland beat the throw to keep the inning alive.

Profar hit a line drive over the head of Diaz into the center.
