No settling by the St. Louis Blues in game three.  After blowing a third period lead on Sunday, the Blues made sure they kept their skate on the throats of the Dallas Stars.

Alexander Steen and David Backes had two goals apiece,  Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and two assists, Troy Brouwer had a goal and assist and the Blues racked up a 6-1 victory that put them up 2-1 in the second-round series Tuesday night.

“Credit everybody in the room that they bought in,” Backes said. “We had probably our most complete effort of the postseason, and a good time to have it.”

The Blues can take big control of the series at home Thursday night.
