Balls flying out of the park as Royals lose again

April 28, 2016 By Bill Pollock

Eric Hosmer spotted Chris Young a two-run lead with his third homer of the season, but the Angels scored four runs on three homers handing KC another loss, 4-2 the final.

Young fell to 1-4, giving up homers to Mike Trout and Yunel Escobar.  Luke Hochevar gave up a solo homer in the seventh.

Royals pitching held LA to five hits. The problem was three of those left the park.

Hosmer finished with three hits, including a triple, but the club stranded nine and went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
