Missouri State Football vs. Arkansas State Football vs. Arkansas State University

The Missouri State football Bears conclude spring drills on Saturday with the team’s annual Maroon and White Game, at Robert W. Plaster Stadium, starting at Noon.

The event is free and open to the public with general admission seating available on the east side and lower west side of the stadium only. Basic stadium amenities, including restrooms, standard concessions and BearWear apparel sales will be available. The Missouri State Bookstore will also operate with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for an expanded selection of fan gear and spirit items.

Pregame tailgating will once again be part of this year’s Maroon and White Game with the traditional BearFest Village area north of Plaster Stadium available for fan pregame activities. Tailgaters may set up from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with tailgating beginning at 10 a.m. Load-in is through the usual BFV route: from Grand, turn north on Hammons Parkway. Reservations are not required, and no tables, chairs or power will be provided. Tent stakes will not be allowed, and tailgating activities must conclude by kickoff. Standard BFV alcohol policies will also be enforced.

Parking for the Maroon and White Game will be available in Lot 22, Lot 4 and BearPark South garage at no charge. Individual tailgating is permitted in these lots with proper adherence to the University Alcohol Policy.

Second-year head coach Dave Steckel will lead his team to the field through the traditional pregame Bear Walk at 11:00 a.m. Halftime activities include a fraternity and sorority football catch challenge from the high-powered Jugs automated football machine. More than 20 fraternity and sorority entries are expected for the challenge.
