Salvador Perez hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to break a tie and give the Royals a 4-2 win Wednesday night over the Houston Astros.

The homer was yet another classic example of the Royals grinding out a win.

With two outs, Alex Gordon drew a walk off Astros reliever Ken Giles setting up Salvy’s heroics.  Perez parked one in Crawford’s Boxes and for the second night, the drawn in dimensions helped the road team.

Perez finished with three RBIs on the night.
