Hey, it may be against the only team in the National League without a win, but the Cardinals offense woke up, pounding out 14 hits in a 12-2 win over the Braves.

Kolten Wong had three hits and scored three runs. He also reached on a three-base error by Braves right fielder Nick Markakis that should have been ruled a triple.

“We know that we can hit,” Wong said. “It’s all about us kind of getting together. Hitting is contagious.”

Even starting pitcher Carlos Martinez drove in two runs, the same amount of runs he allowed in six innings.

Big difference between Atlanta and Pittsburgh.  The Cardinals have scored 19 runs in the two games against the Braves, after only scoring seven against the Pirates.
