Back when Mizzou football was going to protest and not participate in practices or games until University of Missouri System president Tim Wolfe resigned (or was it until a protester ate?)…I can’t remember because the story changed, I warned sports could be headed down a slippery slope.

I said the Mizzou protest was not going to be a one-time event.  This was going to open up discussions for other teams to protest…and what would be next?  Not liking team rules, or the food served at team meals.  They don’t like their uniform? What would it be?

I thought for sure a college team would be the first to try to organize a protest.  I was wrong.  It was actually a Major League baseball team and according to ESPN, the Chicago White Sox considered skipping a game on Wednesday.  For that I say, thanks a lot Mizzou.
