Kim Anderson’s basketball team suffered two more transfers as sophomore guards Namon Wright and Tramaine Isabell will leave the University of Missouri basketball program.

“Tramaine Isabell and Namon Wright have made the Mizzou men’s basketball program aware of their intentions to transfer,” Anderson said in a statement late Tuesday. “We will fully support these requests on the condition of Tramaine and Namon completing their academic requirements to close the semester. We appreciate what both Tramaine and Namon contributed during their time with the program and wish them the best as they continue to pursue their academic and athletic goals.”

Wright, a 6-5 guard from Los Angeles, started 25 games and averaged 9.6 points and a team-best 5.2 rebounds. He averaged 10.5 points a game against SEC teams.

Isabell, a 6-foot guard from Seattle, made two starts and played in 28 of the 31 games.  Isabell, unlike a Frank Haith holdover as Wright, was a late addition to Anderson’s first recruiting class, but was in trouble twice in his two year.  He was suspended five games his freshman year and one game this year for poor attitude.

The questions about Anderson ability to recruit are certainly under question now.  Since the end of last season, eight players have left the team, including four of the five players in Anderson’s first signing class.
