Top seeded Augustana got two free throws with under five seconds to play to pull out an 80-78 victory over second seeded Northwest Missouri in the central regional final. NWMSU went on a 9-2 run with just under two minutes to play to tie the game with 23 seconds left.

Bearcats Justin Pitts led the way with 34 points going three of four from behind the three-point line. Conner Crooker finished with 19 points and Chris-Ebou Ndow pulled down a team best eight rebounds.

NWMSU finishes 27-6 on the year and were the MIAA regular season and post-season tournament champion.
