Northwest Missouri tied an MIAA record with 19 league wins and earned the top seed in the MIAA Tournament. They will be joined with a bye to Kansas City by second seeded Nebraska-Kearney, third seeded Missouri Southern and fourth seeded Fort Hays State.

In the opening round of campus play-in games scheduled for Tuesday, March 1 fifth seeded Central Oklahoma will host 12thseed Central Missouri at 7 p.m. from Edmond. Sixth seeded Washburn will play host to 11th seeded Missouri Western at 7 p.m. in Topeka, Kan.

Seventh seeded Lincoln will host an opening round game with 10th seeded Emporia State at 7 p.m. in Jefferson City. Eighth seeded Pittsburg State will play host to Lindenwood who earned the ninth seed at 7 p.m.

Men’s quarterfinals on Kansas City are slated for 12 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Friday, March 4 from Municipal Auditorium. For tickets to the Kansas City games contact the ticket office of your favorite MIAA institution.
