A few weeks back, Jason West of MSHSAA joined me on our weekly discussion and mentioned that they were certainly keeping an eye on the St. Louis Rams/dome situation. Even if the Rams would have stayed in St. Louis, eventually the team would have moved out of the dome and MSHSAA would need guarantees that the dome and playing surface would be safe to continue to hosting the state football championships.
St. Louis is still interested in keeping the games, but Jason says other sites have reached out to MSHSAA and want to be part of the next bid for the 2016 championships.
