Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele beat Blues goalie Brian Elliott up high with a wrist shot after Elliott made three straight saves in a shootout Tuesday night at Scottrade Center.  The Blues lost 2-1.

Winnipeg (24-26-3) got a goal from Bryan Little. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 21 saves through overtime and was 4-for-4 in the shootout.

The Blues managed just 22 shots on goal and got a tally from rookie defenseman Colton Parayko.  Elliott, despite losing the shootout, earned the point for his team by making 32 saves. His record is 3-2-2 the past seven starts but has only allowed one goal in five of those games.
