#Mizzou loses at Mississippi State in poor shooting, low scoring game

Mizzou shot 32 percent (14-for-44) from the floor and Mississippi State shot 33 percent (18-for-55) from the field as the 21st ranked Tigers lost against the 11th ranked Bulldogs, 52-42 in Starkville, MS.

The 42 points are the lowest total for Mizzou this season.

Sophie Cunningham (Columbia, Mo.) led the Tigers with 13 points, including eight in the fourth quarter. Jordan Frericks (Quincy, Ill.) recorded her 23rd career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Mizzou made it a one point game at 35-34 with 7:05 remaining on a layup by Cunningham but MSU closed the game on a 7-0 run and converted five of their last seven attempts.
