Freshman Kevin Puryear scored 22 points to lead Missouri (8-15, 1-9) and senior Ryan Rosburg also set a career-high with 17 points, but the shorthanded Tigers lost at Alabama 80-71.
The Tigers were down 22 in the second half when Rosburg when on a stretch of scoring the next ten points for Mizzou.
Riley Norris scored 18 points to lead Alabama.
