Mizzou has added Long Beach Junior College quarterback Jack Lowary.  As a freshman, Lowary  played in 12 games, completing 53% of his passes for 3,306 yards with 28 TDs and 13 INTs.   He helped lead the Vikings to a 9-1 regular season and a victory in the Southern California Regional Playoffs.  Lowary and the Vikings lost in the regional finals to Saddleback 43-17.

In that regional final, another Mizzou commit, wide receiver Dominic Collins had nine catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns.  Lowary was just 19 of 45 for 179 with a TD and two picks.

One of his best games came in the middle of the season when Lowary completed 34 of 62 passes for 432 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. Trailing 31-17 in the fourth quarter, Lowary led the Vikings on a pair of touchdown drives, including a 12-play, 91-yarder that tied the score with just 27 seconds left in regulation. Lowary’s fifth TD pass of the night went to Jerin Scroggins in the second overtime to seal the win, 38-31 in double OT over Mt. San Antonio College.
