According to Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s John Gambadoro, defensive line coach Jackie Shipp will fill that position at Missouri.  The radio host tweeted out the news Monday evening.  On the Sun Devils athletic website, it mentions that Shipp was a recipient of the American Football Foundation Mike Campbell Top Assistant Coach Award and has been named by Rivals.com as a Top 25 recruiter nationally.

That title could work well for Mizzou as Odom shifts the focus of recruiting back to Texas.

Arizona State finished 6-7 in 2015, but the Sun Devils defense finished third in the Pac-12 against the run and first in the conference with 46 sacks.

Prior to ASU, Shipp coached for at Oklahoma, Langston University, Central Missouri, Tennessee at Martin, Southern Illinois University and Northeast Louisiana. He played in the NFL for the Dolphins and L.A. Raiders.

Shipp will replace Chris Wilson who was hired at Mizzou in December, only to jump ship to the Philadelphia Eagles to become their D-line coach under Doug Pederson.

Shipp was at Central Missouri for the 1992 season.
