Another second half scoring drought costs Mizzou hoops at 10th ranked Texas A & M

January 23, 2016 By Bill Pollock

Mizzou led by one in the second half over 10th ranked Texas A & M, but a five-minute scoring drought cost the Tigers the chance of an upset win as they fall to the Aggies 66-53.

The Tigers were up 44-38 with just over 13 minutes to play when A & M’s Jalen Jones scored eight straight points.  After Ryan Rosburg scored, Jones completed a three-point play to start another 8-0 run to open up the lead to 54-40 with 6:55 to play.

The Tigers have lost four straight to fall to 8-11.

Wes Clark led the Tigers with 12 points.
