Chiefs promote Brad Childress as offensive coordinator after Pederson officially becomes Philly’s head coach

Brad Childress will take over as offensive coordinator of the Chiefs.  Childress has been the Chiefs spread game analyst since he joined Andy Reid came in Kansas City in 2013. He has been in the NFL for 17 years.  He was also Reid’s offensive coordinator with the Eagles from 2002-05.  Childress was the Vikings head coach from 2006-10.

Childress takes over for Doug Pederson, who was officially named Eagles head coach Monday.
