The Philadelphia Eagles will hire Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson as their next head coach, once the season is over in Kansas City.

The Chiefs face the New England Patriots in the divisional round Saturday.

Through a Philadelphia spokesman the team said “We have concluded our search for a head coach. No further interviews are scheduled.”

Andy Reid, the former Eagles head coach, brought Pederson with him to Kansas City where he was offensive coordinator with the Chiefs for the past three seasons.
